EMPATHIC LEADERSHIP COACHING

Naimah impacts organizations and individuals through empathic learning opportunities that set the stage for complex and crucial conversations surrounding healing, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

By challenging and guiding leaders to find their authentic voice, she empowers them to lead with a compassionate heart anchored in empathy.

This widening of perspective catalyzes self and organizational awareness of blind spots that limit growth. This evolved insight uncovers opportunities for empathic mindset shifts and influence. These shifts become the invitation, springboard and pathways for deepened connections.

Naimah utilizes an integrative and collaborative approach to curate an experience that responds to the critical client needs with a strategy rooted in empathy. This approach moves initiatives from performative to purposeful and stimulates sustainable transformation of individuals and organizational culture.

TEDxHagerstown Women
October 2023

I had the pleasure of speaking at TEDxHagerstown in Hagerstown, Maryland. This year's theme was TWO STEPS FORWARD!

In my talk titled More Than Mother I share about my journey of childlessness.

Here is a brief summary:

Even before she comprehends her place in the world, a seed is being planted. An innocent and loving gesture, in the form of a gift, is gently placed in her arms before she possesses the dexterity to grasp it. She receives a baby doll, and with it comes an indoctrination, an imprint, the beginning of an identity taking shape.

A blueprint of what it means to be a woman is handed to her, and over time, she learns that caregiving is a role expected of her. But what happens when women are unable to bear children?

In my talk I challenge the conventional definition of motherhood and confront the very essence of womanhood.

This workshop responded to the need of individuals who want to engage more empathically in conversations that are often difficult to have. Participants were left more resourced and empowered to navigate conversations around inclusion and belonging when unsure of where to start.

“We are dangerous when we are not conscious of our responsibility for how we behave, think, and feel.”
